Introducing Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery Clinic
Meet Dr. Choi Dong-il at Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery, a specialist in advanced eye and nose procedures, including the world’s first published technique for monolid ptosis correction.

Introducing Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Hello, I am Dr. Choi Dong-il.
I am the representative director of Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery Clinic.
Which one of the people below do you think is me? Naturally, it would be the one speaking Korean.

This photo was taken a while back when the Italian doctor ‘Cafro’ visited, and we were discussing surgical techniques together.
I previously posted about the medical services offered at our clinic, but some people seem to have misunderstood.
They asked, ‘Is this place only for male eye surgery?’
That is not the case. We actually have more female patients. Our surgical breakdown is approximately 60% eye surgery, 20% rhinoplasty, 15% fat grafting, thread lifting, and facelifts, and about 5% fillers and Botox.

This is a Real Story model who had surgery at our clinic. You can check out our Real Story Book at the clinic.
I made it myself. It might look a bit amateurish, but it is not bad. After all, performing surgery well is what matters, not how well the Real Story Book is designed, right? Haha.

This is how the patient looked on the day of surgery.
You can see photos like this in the book.
We primarily perform ptosis correction. In particular, we perform many incisional ptosis corrections, which are higher in difficulty.
Rather than me pushing this method on patients, most patients research it and come to me specifically for it.
In fact, for Korean patients, I believe the satisfaction rate for non-incisional methods is generally under 20%.
For example, if the skin is thick or there is a lot of fat, non-incisional methods (such as the burial method or natural adhesion) often come undone quickly and the shape does not turn out as beautiful.
We also perform many male monolid ptosis corrections.

There is a way to make the eyes look larger while keeping the double eyelid fold invisible like this.
Alternatively, some people use their forehead muscles to open their eyes.

After surgery, you can see that the eyes open comfortably without using the forehead, and the gaze looks much clearer.
However, if you only look at the before-and-after eye photos, they might look somewhat similar.

The reason people ask if I only do male eyes is likely because of the paper shown below.

I think it is because I wrote the world’s first thesis related to ‘Monolid Ptosis Correction’ and have given lectures at academic conferences on the subject.

We also perform many nose surgeries. After rhinoplasty, a splint like the one below is worn for about 7 days.

This is the progress of the patient mentioned above.
While I do not perform facelifts every single day, I do them quite often, and Botox and fillers are standard procedures here.
The surgeries I do not perform are breast surgery and facial bone contouring. However, I am highly skilled in chin implants and nasolabial fold implants.
