6-Month Progress: Extreme Eye Retraction Surgery and Multiple Eyelid Folds
A 6-month follow-up on a complex case involving eye retraction correction and severe multiple folds, showing significant improvement in symmetry and fold stability.

The right eye required retraction surgery, while the left eye exhibited severe multiple folds and an excessively wide appearance toward the outer corner.

This is the condition of the scarring when the eyes are closed.
There was a significant deficiency of skin, severe scarring, and almost no internal fat tissue remaining.
This is the status at the 6-month mark.
The retracted eye now aligns well with the pupil, and the multiple folds have improved significantly.
However, one eye still appears slightly sunken due to a lack of volume in the upper eyelid area.
Since this is a matter of missing volume rather than a recurring fold issue, fat grafting appears necessary.
A second procedure for fat grafting is scheduled.
Considering the ‘extreme’ nature of this case, the surgical outcome can be viewed as very successful.
