Male Monolid Ptosis Correction: Before and Immediately After Surgery (feat. Sanpaku Eye Correction)

This patient underwent surgery yesterday.

Please keep in mind that swelling is still present; I will continue to provide updates as healing progresses.

Before the surgery, the patient had severe sanpaku eyes, and the eyes appeared very sleepy and covered due to sagging skin.

‘Sanpaku eyes’ refers to a condition where the white of the eye is visible on three sides, as seen in the photos above.

In such cases, it can create a negative impression. This topic was even covered in the famous comic series ‘Kkol’ by artist Huh Young-man, which discusses physiognomy.

In cases like this, non-incisional ptosis correction is not a viable option.

First, it cannot effectively address the excess skin covering the eye.

Second, because a significant amount of correction is required, a non-incisional approach could lead to severe tension and potential side effects.

This photo was taken in the recovery room immediately after the surgery.

I will upload new photos when the stitches are removed.

You can see that both the ptosis and the sanpaku eye condition have been significantly improved.

The principle behind correcting sanpaku eyes is documented in medical journals. If you are curious about the details, I can explain them further during a consultation.

I will post additional updates when the stitches are removed.
