LocationHanwha Resort Pyeongchang

I went on a trip during the last Chuseok holiday. I spent 3 days and 2 nights at the Hanwha Resort in Pyeongchang with my parents.

We visited several nearby tourist attractions, and Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch was absolutely amazing.

The weather was incredible.

When you arrive, you can see a bus in the distance. You wait in line for the bus. Of course, you can walk up without waiting, but since the course is so long and vast, I recommend taking the bus to the top and walking down.

It is that high up.

Children might get tired while waiting for the bus. So, there is a sheep feeding activity prepared on the right side.

The sheep must have been starving because they rush toward anyone who comes near, begging for food.

It is 2,000 won per bowl... but I am not lying, they finish it in under 5 seconds... These sheep earn more money than people do.

We take the bus to the summit. Honestly, you do not even need to travel to Japan... this is easily on par with or better than Hokkaido.

The wind turbines that appeared in the ‘Lalala Samyang Ramen’ commercials.

When you reach the top, if the weather is clear, you can see Gangneung and Jumunjin. You can see the ocean in the distance.

The view on the other side is also spectacular.

The weather is so good, there is zero fine dust.

On the way down, we found another flock of sheep. These sheep are so busy grazing that they do not even notice people. They do not respond even if you call them... they are quite different from the sheep we saw at the entrance.

A restaurant my parents highly praised... the Log House Restaurant. The wild greens are delicious. I recommend the Grilled Dried Pollack (Hwangtae-gui) set menu.

We stopped by Woljeongsa Temple on the way back. A commemorative photo... haha.

Another commemorative photo in front of the bridge... I applied a mosaic effect for privacy reasons. Hahahaha.

This is the origin of Woljeongsa Temple...

A photo of the full moon I took on the way home... I still have no idea how to take a clear photo of the full moon...
