Slightly Lowering Thick Double Eyelids (Sausage Eyelids)
A case study on correcting thick, sausage-like double eyelids using the double-line incision technique to achieve a more natural look.

Slightly Lowering Thick Double Eyelids (Sausage Eyelids)
This post is about correcting thick double eyelids.

Looking at this patient, she has clear, beautiful eyes and a lovely face, but the only drawback was that her double eyelids appeared relatively thick and had a ‘sausage-like’ feel.
Therefore, she wanted to lower the eyelid line.
Usually, for people with protruding eyes, even a slightly high double eyelid line can appear very thick.

This is the appearance after 1 week. Even though the stitches have been removed, it still looks thick, right?
This is because there is still swelling present.

This is at the 3-month mark.
The line has become much lower than before the surgery and will continue to look more natural over time. The initial ‘sausage’ appearance is also fading away.
This procedure was performed using what is commonly known as the ‘double-line incision’ (du-jul-tta-gi) technique.

This is the 3-month progress after the double-line incision. Some redness still remains, but it will improve as time passes.
However, one thing to note is that the scar will never completely disappear!!!
It will, however, improve over time.
