This patient has one low double eyelid and one high double eyelid.

In cases like this, the symmetry must be corrected by creating a new double eyelid line.

While both incisional and non-incisional (buried) methods are options, the non-incisional method carries a risk of creating ‘double lines’ when attempting to lower a high crease.

Therefore, when lowering a crease line, the incisional method should be used to ensure that double lines do not form.

This is the appearance one week after surgery. Although there is some bruising, the symmetry is well-balanced.

This is the appearance after 1 year and 6 months. The shape is excellent, and the line has been successfully lowered.

Even when the eyes are closed, the scar looks like a natural skin fold, so the scarring is very subtle.
