When consulting for double eyelid surgery, many patients seem to be curious about the swelling process and reviews specifically for the incision method.

Does the incision method really cause more swelling? The answer is ‘No’.
Swelling depends on how the line is designed and, to some extent, the surgeon’s skill. By skill, I mean how well they manage hemostasis (stopping the bleeding). However, please note that even if hemostasis isn’t perfect or swelling lasts a bit longer, the final result is usually the same. It just makes the recovery process a bit tougher. ^^;;
