The Miracle of 1mm: The Mentor of Plastic Surgeon Dr. Choi Dong-il
I completed my residency at Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital. Although it has been over 10 years since I finished my training, I would like to dedicate a post to our mentor, ‘Chief Professor Jeong Cheol-hoon’.
While I currently focus primarily on aesthetic surgeries such as eye and nose procedures, during my training, we performed many head and neck reconstructions and microsurgeries.

There were many patients we operated on through the night while working with the Professor. The longest surgery lasted 38 hours...
This is a photo kept in my office. It was taken when we appeared on a program called ‘Field Records: Hospital’.
Wishing you good health, Professor!
