Solutions and Treatments for Ptosis Correction Side Effects

This content was presented at the Oculoplastic Surgery Research Group Symposium held on July 14, 2024.

If ptosis correction becomes loose after surgery, the double eyelid line may become higher or the fold may unravel.

Alternatively, if overcorrection occurs, the eyes may open excessively wide.

In some cases, there may be excessive mucosal exposure (eyelid flipping).

I presented on these topics to an audience of board-certified plastic surgeons.

Approximately 700 people attended, and I am very pleased that the event was held so successfully.
