Under-Eye Fat Repositioning Lecture: EZ-Tcon Webinar Sponsored by HansBiomed (Dark Circles, Under-Eye Fat, Lower Blepharoplasty)

I was recently invited to present a webinar (an online lecture for plastic surgeons) regarding under-eye fat repositioning.

The presentation focuses on using ‘EZ-Tcon’ threads, which are currently distributed by HansBiomed.

I am currently serving as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for these threads and utilize them extensively in my practice.

As we age, many wrinkles form under the eyes. In particular, significant efforts have been made to improve the appearance of bulging under-eye areas.

Various methods have evolved over the years. In the past, a common technique involved fixing the fat with sutures visible on the outside of the skin.

However, that approach often required patients to return to the clinic specifically for suture removal, and occasionally led to external skin irritations.

To prevent these issues, this method fixes the threads internally.

Operating with this technique results in less downtime, faster recovery, and a significantly shorter surgical duration.

As I always emphasize, the more efficiently a surgery is performed, the less swelling occurs and the better the final results tend to be.

As shown, the harsh boundaries of the fat disappear, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

The procedure is completed within 30 minutes.

There is no need to return to the clinic specifically for suture removal.

Only in cases where fat grafting is also required would a patient need to visit to remove a single stitch from the navel area!
