Guide to Porsche Warranty Extension - Coverage Details
A guide to Porsche warranty extensions, covering costs for models like the 911 and Panamera, eligibility criteria, and included services like 24-hour roadside assistance.

Typically, imported cars come with a warranty of about 3 years.
However, brands like Porsche and Ferrari occasionally offer warranty extensions.
In the case of Porsche, there is a standard 4-year warranty period, with the option to extend it by an additional 1 or 2 years.

I extended my warranty by 2 years this past spring. The car has been reliable without any minor breakdowns.
The advisor at the Daechi branch was very helpful. They even gave me two umbrellas. Hahaha.

Looking at the list, the 911 and Panamera have the most expensive warranty extensions. I wonder why that is.

Additionally, it is noted that the warranty extension includes a 24-hour emergency roadside assistance service.

However, the vehicle must not exceed 200,000 km or be older than 8 years at the time of application, so the maximum coverage can be seen as up to 10 years.
I think this is possible because Porsche builds such durable cars. Otherwise, they would lose money. Lol.
No company does anything that would result in a loss.

In fact, among the items covered by the warranty, electronic system failures seem to be the most common.

One thing to note is that minor issues like slight noises or vibrations are reportedly not covered.
