Absurd Situation: Slander from Another Clinic Reported by a Double-Fold Lowering Patient
A report regarding false claims and slander circulating in group chats about a double-fold lowering surgery that never occurred at our clinic.

I am posting this in the middle of my clinic hours because I found something so absurd during a consultation today.
I have heard that many clinics nowadays have group KakaoTalk chat rooms.
A patient who came for a consultation today asked me if I recently had a double-fold lowering (Dujul-ttagi) patient who developed multiple creases.
When I told them there was no such patient, they showed me the content being circulated.
Apparently, someone who did not even have surgery at our clinic is writing posts claiming they developed multiple creases and even underwent early revision at our hospital.
What is this? I ask this person to contact me immediately.
They claim to have had surgery at our clinic on October 11, 2023, but I have never performed surgery on such a person, nor have I performed a fat graft on them.
If you are an affiliate of another clinic, stop this behavior immediately. This is a warning.

What is even more ridiculous is the claim that they received early revision at our clinic on October 20, 2023, due to multiple creases.
I have never performed an early revision for multiple creases recently.
Of course, if such an issue had occurred, I would have naturally fixed it, but I have never done so—so where did this person actually get their surgery?
I have heard of people writing groundless malicious comments on the internet, but this is truly something else..
Usually, malicious comments about our clinic come from people who have never even had surgery here, saying things like ‘I heard it is like this...’ to create a certain atmosphere. For example, ‘The surgery time is too short, so they must do a sloppy job,’ ‘They don’t even sit you up in the middle of surgery, so it’s careless,’ or ‘The director seems scary, so I’m not going to go at all.’
People who haven’t even experienced the surgery are leaving malicious comments... Is it really necessary to go this far?
The world is a scary place..
I will make every effort to collect evidence, and if it turns out to be a clinic affiliate, be prepared to be thoroughly shamed within the Society of Plastic Surgeons.
---------------------------------------Added on October 30, 2023.
I am sharing what another patient sent to our clinic via KakaoTalk.

I do not know if their multiple creases were corrected, but for this level of creasing, I do not perform fat grafting. This is because it can be corrected without it. Looking at the adhesion pattern, there is a possibility that the multiple creases were not actually corrected.
This is a case that would actually require early revision.
In conclusion... I have been in direct contact with the individual involved, and it has been confirmed that they underwent surgery at another clinic near Sinsa/Apgujeong.

I was considering taking legal action, but since the individual has been identified, I will monitor the situation for now.
Our clinic is a small practice, and we value every single patient we operate on.
As of October 30, 2023, we do not offer review discounts or similar promotions; we operate primarily on word-of-mouth and referrals.
I hope people refrain from actions that cause such misunderstandings.
