This patient had surgery two years ago. She had slight facial asymmetry and possessed out-fold double eyelids.

She wanted to lower the front part of the eyelids more than their current state to transition into a semi-out fold style.

This is the height shown in the reference photo the patient provided. We usually include such photos in the chart as a goal and strive to perform the surgery accordingly.

The front part of the double eyelid was successfully lowered, achieving a semi-out fold feel.

Due to her original facial asymmetry, the left side of her face is slightly smaller (the right side in the photos).

When facial asymmetry is present, we do not look at the eyes in isolation but consider the overall shape. Currently, the balance is well-maintained. Occasionally, issues like differing ear heights, one corner of the mouth appearing higher, or a crooked nose are not caused by double eyelid surgery; rather, patients often notice these pre-existing asymmetrical features for the first time while looking closely in the mirror after surgery.
