Hello, I am Director Choi Dong-il. I am currently serving as the Secretary General of the Oculoplastic Surgery Research Group.

The Oculoplastic Surgery Research Group is one of the oldest research groups under the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and there are many directors who work very hard within the group.

There are many people I respect, and many junior doctors I cherish.

This time, I gave a presentation on the ‘Precautions for Incisional Ptosis Correction’. While resolving complications is important, it is even more vital to prevent them from occurring in the first place.

Presenting at symposiums or academic conferences allows me to study a lot, learn new things, and provides an opportunity for continuous growth as I can correct any misconceptions through exchange with other doctors.

This year marks the 13th symposium, which is held every two years.
