This patient had a double eyelid on only one side before surgery.
Rather than simply removing it, a new line is set lower, and the upper line is released.
It is not enough to just release it; adhesions must be thoroughly removed, and specific maneuvers must be performed to prevent the double eyelid from reforming in that spot.
Many people assume that an incisional method will cause significant swelling, but if hemostasis is managed properly and the surgeon works with quick, precise movements, swelling is minimized.
This video was taken immediately after the surgery, and there is not much swelling.
This is a video from the day the stitches were removed. With this level of swelling, there is likely very little difference between the immediate post-op state and the final result.

The surgery was successful.
