Beginner Golfer (2) - Correcting Driver Hooks - Fixing with Address
Learn how to fix driver hooks by adjusting your address and grip. Common causes include ball position, strong grips, and swing path issues.

There are several reasons why a driver might hook. Since I have been struggling with hooks lately and putting in a lot of effort to fix them, I want to share a video that has been particularly helpful for me.
Common causes of a hook:
- 1. Placing the ball too far to the left
- 2. Holding the club with an excessively strong grip
- 3. A swing path that is too ‘in-to-in’
- 4. The body leaning forward instead of keeping the head behind the ball
Here is a helpful reference video.

It is time to say goodbye to that excessive strong grip!
