It is crucial to hit the turf along with the ball.

When most beginners attempt an #iron shot, they often swing using only their arms or release their cocking too early during weight transfer, resulting in a large arc that ‘scoops’ the ball upward.

I find myself doing this quite often as well, and it is a difficult habit to break.

Ultimately, you need to achieve this specific posture.
