Beginner Golfer (1) Golf Grip - Driver Basics - Breaking 100

As you play golf, your form often starts to break down. In many cases, it begins with the most fundamental element: the grip.

First and foremost, the left-hand grip is crucial; the left thumb must be parallel to the grip.

So, in terms of my own hand, it is best to position it like this.

This corresponds to a ‘neutral grip’.

It is said that a ‘weak grip’ is rarely used. You should be slightly off from the exact center, but the direction of the grip and the direction of the left thumb must align.
